It’s that time of year. We will be open Tuesday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 31 and closed Wednesday, December 25 and January 1-8 (for our winter break). On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve we will only be offering doughnuts and cinnamon rolls, so if there are any breads, croissants, or panettone that you want, please pick them up the weekend before. We recommend placing a pre-order if you want quantities of any specific item. This is especially true for our Jewish friends who want regular or vegan jelly bombs for their holiday celebrations—these require special shaping and need to be ordered by the Sunday before you want them so they are factored into our production schedule..
It’s been almost two years since we opened and there are changes afoot for the new year, as we reevaluate life at the shop and map out some new directions. As many of you know, we love doughnuts, and we also love to make other things. We’re trying to figure out how to create a little more room to play in the kitchen. This may mean focusing our hours to fewer days with more options, that would include those cooking classes we’ve been talking about and showcasing some other pastas and baked goods. Still dough-centric, just not only doughnuts.
